Last 2014, the top selling vehicle of America is the Ford F-Series with about 753, 851 units sold. Thus, the Ford F – Series took the highest spot of the best-selling vehicles in 2014 which is also by significant distance compared to the next spot. As a series of full-size pickup trucks manufactured by the Ford Motor Company, the Ford F – Series have been the best-selling vehicle of America this past 32 years.
Next in line with the Ford series is the Chevrolet Silverado which sold 529, 755 units last 2014. The Chevrolet Silverado is known for its long line of predecessors of pickup trucks which have all been eyed by luxury car enthusiasts all over the world. First introduced in 1999, it is a series of heavy-duty and full-size pickup trucks by General Motors.
With 439, 789 units sold, came third is the Ram P/U. Ram pickup trucks have known throughout the US for being its units of pickups ranging from light to mid-weight and the Ram P/U is the its newest unit of trucks which certainly took the interest of car enthusiasts in America’s, thus putting it in the third of the best-selling vehicles of 2014.
Next in line to the top three best-selling vehicles of 2014 are Toyota Camry by the Japanese’s Toyota with 428, 606 units sold, Honda Accord manufactured by Honda which sold 388, 374 units, Toyota Carolla/Matrix coming with 339, 498 units sold, Nissan Altima in 335, 664, Honda CR-V in 335, 019, Honda Civic with 325, 981 and Ford Fusion with 306, 860 in that order.
The Toyota Camry is a popular foreign car by Japanese manufacturer Toyota, which have spanned generations since it was first sold in 1982. On the other hand, Honda Accord is manufactured by Honda and is prominently known through its variant, the four door sedan. It was the first car introduced in the US by a Japanese manufacturer and had been one of the best-selling cars in America since 1989. Officially named as Toyota Carolla Matrix, the Toyota Matrix is a compact hatchback by Toyota Motors and was modeled after the Toyota Carolla.
The Nissan Altima, in contrast was manufactured by Nissan. It is a mid-size car which is part of the Nissan Bluebird line since its introduction back in 1957. Alternatively, Honda CR-V is a derivation of Honda’s Honda Civic. It is a compact crossover of the Civic model, which is a line of compact vehicles made by Honda. The Civic model fits in between models Honda Fit and Honda Accord and had gone several changes over the years.
Lastly, with Ford’s F-Series on the top, the one on the last is the Ford Fusion. But that doesn’t mean that it isn’t a car fit for you. A mid-size car manufactured by the Ford Company, it became a huge success ever since it was first introduced in 2006. It had been placed second in the top-selling mid-size cars and awarded Motor Trend Car of the Year in 2010. It is simply a car worthy to be in this list.
